Maine Evolution

Offering: Beginning Hockey - Tier II - Tier III - Tier IV

Hello and thank you for taking the time to consider being a part of Maine Evolution Programs 2022-2023 Fundraising Efforts! 

Maine Evolution is  a non-profit USA Hockey affiliate. We provide youth hockey instruction, practice and game participation, and the overall "hockey experience" to all children, boys and girls, from ages 4 to 19. Me Evolution is open to hockey players from any Southern Maine community. While any players in the area can participate, our program mainly serves young skaters from the towns of Biddeford, Buxton, Gorham, Hollis, Limington, Saco, Scarborough, Standish, Windham and Westbrook. Our home rink is the USM Ice Arena in Gorham where our skaters have the benefit of the only Olympic sized sheet of ice in Maine, and William B. Troubh Ice Arena, in Portland. We offer beginning hockey, Tier II, III and IV hockey at all age levels. ME Evolution has 300+ players participating in our program with an outreach of 2000 contacts that we send correspondence to monthly. For all teams, we strive for each player to have 70 ice touches and 16 off- ice training sessions during the regular session from October to March.

How can you participate?

As a non-profit organization, your tax-deductible financial support can be provided through sponsorship at various levels (see below). Donated funds are utilized throughout our organization in such areas as:

• Financial Scholarships
• Goalie Equipment
• Reduce tuition cost for house level teams
• Mites Jerseys
• Training equipment for practices
• A set of cross-ice Boards
